Considered one of the oldest communities in Illinois, the city of Peoria was actually named after the Peorian Indians when it was incorporated in 1845.

Today, this bustling city has a population of more than 372,000 residents, making it the third largest metropolitan area in the state.

This city has it all: various shopping venues, high class dining, beautiful community parks, award-winning golf courses, regular cultural events and more!

And the recently expanded Peoria Civic Center only serves to enhance quality of life in the city.  This beautiful architectural feat, which was originally constructed in the 1980s, features an arena, a theater, an exhibit hall and meeting rooms.
